English Language Fellows ("ELF's") Carol Foye and Dana Poole conducted programs at the American Corners in Yaffo and Beersheva in honor of International Education Week.
On November 14, the English Language Fellows conducted a program at the American Corner Yaffo. Two MEPI-sponsored exchange alumni also shared their U.S. education experiences. The Fellows divided the audience into small groups, each of which sat with a facilitator (MEPI alum or ELF) who screened a power point presentation on educational experiences in the US. The groups move from facilitator to facilitator in order to view all four presentations. The students were excited to learn about the U.S. in general, and about education opportunities and student life in the US in particular.
