PD Tel Aviv hosted a DVC in honor of Black History and Women's History Month on "Empowerment of Women: Small Business - Big Success," on February 8, 2006 , at the American Corner Yaffo . The extremely successful program featured Yvonne R. Davis, Founder, President and CEO of DAVIS Communications, Connecticut and Maryland. Ms. Davis, an expert on communications, public relations, and constituency building for small business and women's and minority issues, shared her experience as a business woman with an appreciative audience of over two-dozen GOI representatives, Russian-speaking, Israeli-Arab and veteran Israeli business women and NGO activists.
